Vehicle page

Everything on one vehicle. Its status and expiries, what it has cost, and its profile, maintenance, fuel, assets, documents, fines and checks.

Fleet → Fleet Overview → click a vehicle’s name (/operations/fleet/vehicles/<id>/view). One page for everything about one vehicle. Fleet Overview in the breadcrumb at the top takes you back to the register.

The header shows the vehicle’s name and type, then a row of badges:

  • Status: Active, Maintenance, Inactive or Archived. For an archived vehicle, the date and reason are shown underneath.
  • Rego and DG licence: green while current, amber within 30 days of expiry, red once expired, grey if not recorded.
  • One badge for each current certificate and insurance policy on the vehicle, coloured the same way.
  • Service: overdue, due (in km, engine hours or by a date) or OK. See Maintenance.
  • On unit … and the manifest number when a live dispatch unit holds the vehicle.

Edit opens the vehicle form on Fleet Overview. When you save, you come back to this page. See Fleet Overview.

The cost cards cover a date range. By default that is the last 12 months. Change From and To, then click Apply.

CardWhat it shows
DistanceThe difference between the lowest and highest odometer readings in the range, and how many readings there were
FuelFuel cost, litres and the number of refuels
MaintenanceWorkshop cost, with the number of records of each kind
Total costFuel plus maintenance
Cost per kmTotal cost divided by distance
  • Distance uses only the odometer readings on refuels and workshop records. Pre-start and manual readings are not included. With fewer than two readings in the range, Distance reads — and Cost per km says needs 2+ odometer readings.
  • Registration, insurance and fines are not included in these costs.

Monthly costs charts fuel and maintenance cost for each month of one year. Use the arrows in the card’s header to move between years.
