Fleet Types & Capacities
Every vehicle type with how many vehicles you run of it and what they hold, and where each type's service interval is set.
Fleet → Fleet Types & Capacities (/operations/fleet/capacity). Every vehicle type, with how many vehicles you have of each and what they hold. This is also where you set each type’s service interval.
The cards
Section titled “The cards”- Vehicles is the number of vehicles that have a type and are not archived, with how many of them are active.
- Types in use is how many vehicle types have at least one vehicle.
- Active pallet spaces and Active payload add up the capacity of active vehicles. Where a vehicle has its own figure, that is used. Otherwise its type’s figure is used.
Because of that fallback, these totals can be higher than the capacity on Fleet Overview, which counts only figures recorded on the vehicles.
The table
Section titled “The table”One row for each vehicle type:
- Pallets (type) and Payload kg (type) come from the type’s specification.
- Vehicles, Active and Active pallets are worked out from your vehicles.
- Retired types are greyed out and marked retired.
A badge in the header counts vehicles that have no type. Give them one in their vehicle form on Fleet Overview.
To change a type’s specification, use Transport Configurations. This page only reads it.
Service intervals
Section titled “Service intervals”The Service interval column has three boxes for each type: km, months and hours (engine hours). Fill in the ones that apply and click Save. The row shows Saved, or the reason it couldn’t save.
- A service is due at whichever interval comes first.
- Leave a box blank if that interval isn’t used. For example, trailers usually have a months interval only, and forklifts an hours interval.
- A vehicle can override the km interval in its own vehicle form, on the Technical tab.
The intervals drive service due on Maintenance, Fleet KMs, the vehicle page and the Fleet Overview card. Only Operations and Admin accounts can change them.
